I entered a competition for a chance to perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and so far I was applauded and congratulated after an outstanding performance I did at the auditions last week. Don’t give up yet
So young, yet people compromise… Is it Darwin; the fact that so few of us acquire self awareness at the right time? Fear of judgment or failure seems to be why the majority of people conform to the safe zones of the subjective realm. I become shrouded in sadness when I witness such introverted behavior because I can’t help but to make the comparison to a wounded animal. Sometimes wounded animals don’t want to be helped, they are too afraid to trust anything they don’t recognize.
If fear is at the crux of this destitute in confidence regarding the everyday trial and error we encounter in life, then perhaps we should consider waging a spiritual campaign against it. If they don’t believe in eternal life or happiness then we must instill confidence in them.
Nobody wants to be judged, and everybody has lost touch with the greater spiritual presence that surrounds us. However, we mustn’t assume that the peoples mental capacities aren’t great enough to contain these concepts. I suggest that we revamp our pedagogic methods to better fit the contemporary state of mind of the people. Similar to rap music, they just won’t listen to you unless you speak their language. Its insulting these days to assume that everyone is comfortable with the word God, especially since we’ve collectively become more aware of the mechanics of the universe. It would be in the best interest of any teacher to strengthen their sensitivity, and empathy for all POV’s.
Your teaching ability will be limited by your emotional attachment to a belief. My reason for digressing is this: Sadness is curable. We don’t need to go on a quest to find a cure for such a diagnosis because we have everything we need. Those who have no confidence, or are consumed in loneliness, or sadness, simply need love. Those who grow bitter, jaded, and skeptical, simply need love. Those who hate, and fear, and self loathe, simply need love. Love, compassion, reassurance, companionship.
I dedicate this writing not only to the teachers, but most importantly to those who have compromised in life and feel trapped, or think it is too late to change anything. I assure you that as long as you stay alive you will always have a chance to repair the wrongs in your life. Don’t give up, there is a conscience spiritual presence in the universe that wishes to give you all its resources if only you try… but really try. Try until you are down on your knees, and then on your belly or back and this is when it’ll happen… when you are most exhausted… freedom and love.
Your life isn’t over… I’m talking to you… your life has only begun…
