There was the Trojan war, there was the battle of Gettysburg, then there was the Hip Hop 4ever battle at the Apollo Theater. Last night we waged a valiant battle against an army of the broken hearted and made it entirely through. My comrades are nothing short of warriors. Thank you, each of you, for standing by me in what became a collision between unstoppable love and hate.
We made history; with your help I have become a TWO-TIME AMATEUR NIGHT AT THE APOLLO WINNER! Not only did we touch the legendary stage three times, but I was also personally invited to return whenever I’d like.

He began experimenting with music during his years experiencing homelessness and the shelter system with his family. Some of his eclectic artistic influences include Mozart, Johnny Cash, Cold Play, and Nas. Stiff competition, an unforgiving audience, and an impassioned lyricist already look to make this a historical night both for Hip Hop and the Apollo Theater alike.

A little history lesson about Hip Hop 4ever…
May 11th 2011 is Hip Hop 4ever Night @ The Apollo Theater!
The word is out! Wednesday, May 11th 2011 are the semi-finals for my next performance at the Apollo Theater! I had mentioned before, May 11th is a relevant date… and here is why; a few years ago on May 11th 2008, was the first official public debut of my music video “Hip Hop 4ever” to a full house at the Pyramid Club (shouts to End of the Weak).

Since then the song and video have made noise internationally by earning rotation on MTV Europe, among receiving many other awards, recognitions and acknowledgments. I think its with beautiful irony that on May 11th 2011 I’ll be performing “Hip Hop 4ever” for the third time at the world famous Apollo Theater, and because of that I’ve decided to celebrate it as we did in 2008. Thus, Wednesday, May 11th 2011 shall be known now as “Hip Hop 4ever Night @ The Apollo”
